Pat Weeks
Coaching Practice Leader

Pat Weeks specializes in coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, negotiation, and small business development.  She is dedicated to using strategic analysis to assist individuals and companies reach their highest potential.  A trained life coach, Ms Weeks has significant experience in strategic planning and business development.  She is the former Vice President for Planning and Business Development of the Fox Chase Cancer Center (retired January 1, 2008) with responsibilities for strategic planning, technology transfer, legal affairs and policy development.

Ms Weeks is currently Chair Emeritus of the Board of BioStrategy Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of startup bioscience companies. Currently, she consults with the National Cancer Institute, the Centers of Excellence of Canada, New Jersey Technology Council and a number of other large and small organizations on the subject of organizational development and technology transfer. In addition, she maintains an active life coaching practice.

Ms Weeks is Past President of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) for whom she has served in a number of board positions. She is a former Chair of the Philadelphia chapter of LES. She is also a member of the PA Biotech Association and the New Jersey Technology Center, the Forum of Executive Women and the Women's Investment Network. She participates in numerous efforts to market the region’s strength in high technology and build national capacity to effectively transfer knowledge and technology. She has been an invited speaker and facilitator at many national and international conferences, symposia and workshops on the subject of the transfer of academic technology to the commercial sector and strategic planning for nonprofit organizations. She is the recipient of the Bayh Dole Award, given to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the field of technology transfer.

Ms Weeks received her B.A. degree with honors from SUNY and her M.S. in Organizational Development from the University of Pennsylvania.
