Jim Geier is a 25 year veteran of human resource management, as a senior executive, as a management committee member and as a consultant. Jim helps organizations of all types and sizes attain their business strategy and drive shareholder/stakeholder value by helping them solve their people issues. He works with the senior management team and/or the board of directors to identify the issues and then develop practical and results-oriented solutions that best fit the needs of the company. Jim has worked with companies in a wide variety of industries and a broad array of areas, including manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare and financial services to develop solutions in the areas of organization design, team building, coaching, compensation, M&A integration and HR effectiveness.
Prior to his consulting career, Jim spent a large part of his career in senior global human resources roles with various industry leaders in the region, including Quaker Chemical Corporation, Rhône-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals (now Sanofi-Aventis), Thomas Jefferson University and Mellon Bank.
Jim is on the Board of Directors at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union where he serves as Secretary of the Board and Chair of the HR Sub-Committee, and Philadelphia Young Playwrights, where he serves as a Vice-President, Chair of the Board Development Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. Also, he is a member of Pennsylvania BIO, the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Society for Human Resource Management, the International Society for Human Resource Management, and the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
